The 23rd International Trade Fair Heimtextil Russia 2021: new concept, new projects, new location

Russia’s largest international trade fair for interior fabrics, home textiles and decorating materials will take place from September 14 to 16, 2021. The physical event will reopen its doors after the break related to pandemic to gather industry professionals, allow them explore the latest trends and “feel textiles offline”.

Heimtextil Russia will be held in a new venue, IEC Expocentre, which is located in the center of Moscow and easily reachable by public transportation. The trade fair will occupy the most convenient pavilions – Pavilion 7 and Pavilion Forum.

One place - three events
For the 1st time Messe Frankfurt Rus will open a joint platform to host three trade fairs on the same dates in the same place: Heimtextil Russia, Techtextil Russia (International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles and Nonwovens) and Interlight Russia | Intelligent building Russia (International Trade Fair for Lighting and Building Services Technology).
This cooperation will provide wholesale buyers, retailers, distributors, furniture manufacturers, designers and architects new business contacts. Furthermore, they will have the opportunity to see the latest trends in interior decoration and furnishing: home textiles, interior fabrics, wallpapers, paints, decorative lighting and systems for “smart house”, home accessories and more.
Exhibitors from 8 countries have already confirmed participation. Among them exhibitors representing:

Industry experts at Heimtextil Russia
Heimtextil Russia brings together various groups of exhibitors and customers. For retailers, DIY chains, marketplaces and wholesale buyers it is a platform to meet large volume producers of home textiles, fabrics, window decoration materials, smart bedding products, wallpapers from Russia and all over the world. The fall business season will be opened with the Retail Forum including the wide scale research of customers’ behavior and the analysis for the leading retail players in the home goods segment.
A wide range of bedroom and bathroom textiles, flame retardant, acoustic, dirt/water resistant, hypoallergenic fabrics, curtain rods and sun protection systems creates exclusive purchasing site for HoReCa experts.

Upholstered furniture manufacturers and sellers will find at Heimtextil Russia the large spectrum of exclusive upholstery fabrics collections for the most demanding clients, as well as fabrics for the mass market segment products. Manufacturers and suppliers of pillows, blankets and mattresses will present new collections.

Many exhibitors will showcase the cut-off fabrics collections for designers and architects that creates additional value for these audiences. Business program will create the unique opportunity to get inspired by the presentations of outstanding speakers.

Special Projects at Heimtextil Russia 2021
Heimtextil Russia team is excited to present a six-room exposition as a special Trend Area.
The International Award for Textile Designers and Decorators starts in May 2021, the winners will be announced in September 2021 at Heimtextil Russia 2021. It will be the 1st and one of the largest high-level events in the textile design and decoration industry in Russia and CIS counties. The Award supports talented textile designers and decorators both on national and international levels, increases the popularity of the profession and promotes innovative ideas in the field of textile decoration.
