08 luglio 2020

Co-location with Intersec, Light, Intelligent Buildings, Prolight + Sound Middle East to leverage cross-show visitor, exhibitor synergies

Dubai, UAE: Middle East Cleaning Technology Week, the region’s leading exhibition for the commercial cleaning and hygiene industries, is to take place in January 2021 in Dubai, where it will co-locate with four other key industry trade shows offering a diverse platform for thousands of professionals in facilities management and smart building services.

The 6th edition of the annual three-day event, originally scheduled to run in November 2020, will now take place from 24-26 January 2021 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, running alongside Intersec, Light Middle East, Intelligent Buildings, and Prolight + Sound Middle East.

All five exhibitions are organised by Messe Frankfurt Middle East, with the co-location designed to deliver an all-encompassing event platform providing visitors with more buying and networking opportunities under one roof, while leveraging the synergies between the shows’ respective product groups.

Intersec is the world’s leading trade fair for security, safety, and fire production, while Light Middle East, Intelligent Buildings, and Prolight + Sound Middle East cover architectural lighting and smart buildings, and professional lighting, audio and AV technology respectively.

Together, the five events are expected to feature a power-packed line-up of more than 1,700 exhibitors from 60 countries, shining a spotlight on new technology advancements in areas such as smart homes, building automation, live events, and autonomous cleaning.

Shyam Parmar, Project Manager at Messe Frankfurt Middle East, said: “With hygiene and sanitisation now a top priority for all sectors, Middle East Cleaning Technology Week 2021 will take a fresh look at the challenges, opportunities and future of the cleaning, laundry and car wash industries.

“Buildings will be expected to meet new levels of hygiene, safety and cleanliness due to Covid-19 and to safeguard against future risks - making it a top priority for facilities and building management.

“Ideally positioned in the calendar to lay the foundation for a successful 2021, Middle East Cleaning Technology Week will allow businesses to build critical contacts, discover where new opportunities lie, overcome challenges and identify what the future of the industry looks like.”

Middle East Cleaning Technology Week 2021 will encompass Clean Middle East Expo, Gulf Car Wash, and Gulf Laundrex presented by Texcare, meeting the 360 degree needs of commercial and industrial cleaning, facilities and waste management, car and auto cleaning, laundry and dry-cleaning.

With the support of government and associations, the revised show programme will provide more value for visitors and exhibitors, with topical content discussed at a three-day conference, and further learning opportunities via workshops and accredited trainings.

“Middle East Cleaning Technology Week has attracted more than 24,000 visitors over the last five years,” added Mr. Parmar. “With the boom of the cleaning and hygiene industries as a result of the global pandemic, and the increased demand from Dubai Expo 2020, now is the right time to respond to industry needs and create a safer, smarter, and cleaner future.”

Meanwhile, Middle East Cleaning Technology Week has enhanced its digital solutions, offering free-to-attend webinars in the coming months where industry experts share their insights on innovations, developments, and trends impacting the regional cleaning and hygiene sectors.

Topics to be covered include how the market is evolving in a pandemic-affected world; the latest cleaning regulatory frameworks and guidelines governing specific sectors in the UAE and wider GCC; delivering optimum cleaning and sanitation results through new technologies; maintaining best-in-class business hygiene cultures; and training for customer and non-customer facing teams.
