Cleanzone enjoys full support of the strategy commission

31 agosto 2020

Early this August, the strategy commission met to study the latest developments in the field of cleanroom technology and highlight the industry’s importance in the current situation. As the signs of economic recovery increase, the experts believe that Cleanzone on 18 and 19 November offers a valuable opportunity to discuss upcoming projects and pursue technological solutions. Manufacturers from Germany and worldwide have already signed on for the event.

The concept for the international trade fair for contamination control and cleanroom technology enjoys the unanimous support of the Cleanzone strategy commission, which looks forward to lively dialogue on today’s pressing issues when the event takes place on 18 and 19 November. That was the upshot of the strategy commission's meeting at the beginning of August. Kerstin Horaczek, Group Show Director for Technology at Messe Frankfurt, welcomes this result: “Trade fairs are possible even during the time of the coronavirus. We are already experiencing this in China, where trade fair business is resuming, and trade fairs will be returning to Frankfurt this autumn in accordance with various hygiene and protection measures. To make this possible, we developed a hygiene concept that has been approved by the authorities and which can be adapted to the current status of the pandemic.”

The industry has been benefiting from growing demand, not only due to the fight against COVID-19, but also as a result of a wave of digitalisation spurred by the pandemic, high-tech strategies in the field of battery technology, and the medical and biotechnology sectors. Markus Thamm, who is also a member of the Cleanzone strategy commission and is responsible for sales and marketing at Mycleanroom, had this to say: “Many projects in the automotive industry and the field of microtechnology were shut down during the first six months of the year, and we expect business to revive towards the end of the year. That means that Cleanzone is taking place at the right time, as it allows us to discuss upcoming projects and drive the automation and digitalisation of production that is necessary.”

Other members of the Cleanzone strategy commission include:

  • Dr. Jürgen Blattner, Owner, BSR Ingenieur-Büro
  • Dr. Roy Fox, Editor-in-Chief, ‘ReinRaumTechnik’, Wiley VCH
