Onsite conferences provided international visitors with updates on industry trends

Dubai, UAE: Middle East Cleaning Technology Week last week recorded a seven percent boost in YOY visitor attendance during the 5th edition of the show.

The event, jointly organised by Messe Frankfurt Middle East and VIS, witnessed 3,125 visitors (7% increase) from 78 countries attend during its three-day run-time between 15-17 October at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
Some 50 exhibitors from 15 countries showcased the latest in cleaning technology and solutions in the Clean Middle East Expo and the Gulf Car Wash Car Care Expo, which make up part of the show.

“We’ve been pleased with the turn out during the event and met many key potential customers, such as Dubai Airports and Dubai Police,” said Kameshwarman J, Sales Engineer, Makita Services.

“The quality of conversations we had on the show floor were encouraging as prospective buyers were keen to know more about our products and services.”

Genevie Pitogo, Coordinator at AKC Group, said: “Middle East Cleaning Technology Week was successful for us and it was quite busy. We know decision makers in government offices as well as top-level executives attend so we believe that having a presence here is important in order to generate new business leads.”

The Clean Middle East Expo highlighted innovations in cleaning and hygiene practices, while Gulf Car Wash Car Care Expo presented car wash and maintenance services at the Middle East’s only dedicated platform for the industry.

The show also featured the Gulf Laundrex presented by Texcare Conference, Facility Management Conference and Cleaning Conference which saw experts from companies such as Diversey, Dubai Airports, Ejadah, Emaar, and Marriott Hotels share insights on the cleaning industry and technology’s impact on the sector.
The free-to-attend one-day conferences provided delegates with expert content delivered through presentations, keynote addresses and panel discussions which delved into the automisation and digitalisation in the laundry industry, the future of textiles, best practices in cleaning and the increase in laundry demand seen in the region.
